Organization of the CoMo Retro Game Convention started in 2021 with the intention of bringing a retro video game show to Columbia, MO. We have since organized three successful conventions, and planned on hosting many more!

“The goal was to create a community and show off vintage games in the Midwest and Missouri. The convention attracted people who might have nostalgia for vintage games they played in their youth or younger individuals interested in buying vintage systems.“
What does the future look like for the show?
- A venue change from Stoney Creek Hotel to Northeast Event Center. Going from 9,460 sq ft to 22,000 sq ft!
- New vendor floor concept of different halls/alleys
- The first-year that sponsorships are prominent
- Outside food vendors will be available now
- More inclusion of comic books, art, and vinyl
- Attendance growth
- More special guest appearances
- Etc.
